About Draw Family Tree
A free, private family tree maker.
Draw Family Tree is a free family tree maker and a collection of printable family tree templates. It is a small independent project run from Spain by a photographer and designer who loves old family photos.
Many family tree sites ask you to create an account and upload your family's names and dates to their servers. This one does not. The charts are drawn in your own browser, your tree is saved on your device, and the PDF is created right there.
How the charts are made
Every chart is drawn as vector graphics, so it prints sharp at any size. Ancestors are numbered the way genealogists do it (your father is 2, your mother 3, and the parents of person n are 2n and 2n + 1), which keeps the family tree, the fan chart and the pedigree chart in step.
Credits
PDFs are built with jsPDF (MIT license). Icons from Lucide (ISC license). The sample family is fictional.
